the frankenbrochure

Okay so here are what you need to have in your sketches for the frankenbrochure for the engineering department. I've got the logo that he settled on and the changes that he would like to see for that. We are going to try and get a metallic ink used on it to make the grey standout as metallic so that might be something you could plan for.

THINGS THE DOC LIKED
4 page brochure / one fold...we can try and do some custom work with panels and folding. Think about using all sides of the canvas...maybe it's a poster fold out as well?
LIked Neon / Outlined look of Ben's
Liked Black and or white space
Liked profile of Ben's illustration for car
Liked the electricity of Meagan's inside
Liked the slogan work of Katy's
Liked Ashleigh's logo - we got taken care of (but keep that look in mind when coming up with plans)
Liked Ashleigh's e pull outs for copy

So this as pretty darn real world. "I like this...hate that." In the words of Tim Gunn. Make it work:)

Okay so also...deadlines for the finals.
You need to have a client to work with by Wednesday. You also need to get going on those materials. Those will be due on the May 14th. You need to walk through and get approval by your client on the backend part of your job folder. Walk through the client questionare, fill out your approval sheets, get real printer quotes on your job. We will talk more about this on Wednesday but be thinking and finalizing your material.

Finals - you need to have a printed show portfolio. 10 to 15 pieces as well as an interactive disc of your work. IDvd...tutorials will be next week. Resume and ready to interview. I will also need a disc of jpeg files of work from the semester.

Thanks for all your hard work on the auto show project. You all had great stuff. So very proud:)
